Family History Research Centre

Perhaps you've always wanted to trace your family tree, but never known where to start. Or perhaps you're keen to find out more about the history of important local buildings. Then during your stay at Studley House Farm you must visit our Family History Research Centre.

The centre contains a well-equipped library of genealogical books, local history books, Yorkshire indexes and finding aids - including digital resources and an internet connection. Tutored two-hour beginner's classes are also held twice a month and include a free family chart, favourites floppy disk, brief guide for beginners and refreshments.

The facility is open to personal researchers only. We don't carry out any research ourselves, but will give every possible help and encouragement to enable you to carry out your own research while you are visiting.
